Sunday!

I love Sundays!!! This week has been... good in most ways, a little trying, a lot tiring, but good. It's been one of those weeks... you know those weeks when you feel like you have more weaknesses and issues then anyone on this planet. Yup, I'm feeling that for sure. I'm beginning to realize that I'm my own worse critic, but at least it keeps me striving and working right? Although sometimes I feel like I have so many weaknessess it doesn't seem possible to fix them all. One at time... it's a good thing I'm a positive person, otherwise I might feel a sense of "doom" lurking over me! And it's an even better thing I have the Lord to help me out and to lean on. The gospel gives so much hope! #1 reason I'm grateful to have the gospel this week is hope. The world just seems so crazy and bad things happen to so many people, but I have such hope that Christ will come and make it all right and that makes life sooo good! It gives me something to live for, and that is a great blessing.

So this week school has been taking over! All my first tests are within the next few weeks so wish me luck! I already took a physical science, the class has seemed easy all semester, but then they go and put the test questions in the strangest context. I'll just say all the studying in the world couldn't have prepared me for that test. Better luck next time, Grant assures me that I'm not stupid... as much as somedays I'd like to debate otherwise. Statistics is coming up on Monday, wish me luck! Then come American Heritage, which I hear is a killer. The good thing is I love that class so incredibly much. So my recommendation to everyone is watch A Man for All Seasons. But get the clean flicks version if you can cause I think it's rated R. BYU got the rights to show the clean one on campus every year I think and I'm so grateful! I've never learned so much from a movie before. I made Grant watch it with me and we both walked out of it wanting to be better people. We had like an hour conversation about it after... so watch it!!

I realize I have no pictures on this blog so I'm probably pretty boring to most people! So for a little visual stimulation I'm gonna post some pictures from my best friend Jordan Turnbull's wedding, which was one of the most beautiful weddings I've ever seen, I'm so happy for her! I was lucky enough to be a bridesmaid and get my own custom made dress... ya there were no limits to this wedding, she's the only daughter and the first child to get married. So here's my absolutely gorgeous friend Jordan and her new husband Bridger married August 23rd!

Cute blog, Zaundra. Good luck with all the tests, and, yes, A Man for All Seasons is wonderful.

I love your quote about faith. I need to remember that. Hope you do great on your tests. I'm gonna go get, A Man for all Seasons now. Thanks for the suggestion. We could always use a good movie around here. Hope you and Grant come for conference, we would love to hang out especially since it looks like we'll be moving soon.
love, Brooke

Ok I made a mistake, A Man for All Seasons totally isn't rated R! So watch it for sure!
